The Bare Magazine: What are the top 3 reasons to see this film?

Natalie Morales: Jillian Bell, Aliens, a very dumb joke about the Electric Slide that I snuck into the movie

Bare: Can you share what makes being part of a comedy so special?

NM: It’s kind of a dark comedy but I think anytime I can make someone laugh I find it to be really special. Laughing is one of the greater gifts of being alive.

Bare: What qualities made your co-star Jillian a great partner? Did you end up becoming good buddies?

NM: Jillian is freakishly talented and also such an incredible human being. We lived together while we were filming, in a little two bedroom apartment and it was so fun to have her as a room mate. We definitely have become very good friends and I would fight anyone who ever was even a little bit mean to her.

Bare: Do you have a few favorite highlights/memories during filming that you can share?

NM: We shot the film in 9 days in November of 2020 and it was quite the whirlwind. We were in this tight bubble because of covid and we didn’t leave our apartments except to go to set. I got to bring my dog Taco to set and he would run around that whole rental house saying hi to all the crew members every morning. This movie took a lot of hard work and dedication from everyone involved (there weren’t that many of us) and it was a really great experience, albeit very fast!

Bare: Can you share what you're working on these days?

NM: I’m working on The Morning Show and also some of my own projects that I’ll be able to share more about soon!

Bare: Currently your favorite ________ is ________?

Book: Camera Man by Dana Stevens

Snack: sesame crackers and cheese

Date night: night swimming

Piece of jewelry: my mom’s initial ring
