Revell Carpenter

Revell Carpenter is a beautiful actor on the rise full of positive vivacious vibes, humor and warmth. We thought Revell was the perfect sultry 60’s canvas to create some blonde bombshell looks. It felt especially authentic bringing that side of her out since Brigitte Bardot is her ultimate icon. Be on the look out for her talents to shine in Malicious Motives on Lifetime and What the Nanny Saw coming in March. For now take a peak at some modern makeup looks with a mod twist (maybe a touch of Euphoria!) and our chat with Revell on her upcoming characters, favorite icons, music, food and those bare essentials!

The Bare Magazine: What inspires and interests you most about the characters you play in some upcoming projects?

Revell Carpenter: I love female characters that are so much stronger than they first appear. I think it is so true to life for people to develop almost superhuman strength when it comes to protecting the people they love. My character in 'What The Nanny Saw', Kim, takes on a nannying job in order to pay for business school. She ends up becoming the boy's biggest hero figure, and she also saves her mother and boyfriend from a vicious villain in the process :)

Bare: Were there any style or glam moments you got into while making "What The Nanny Saw?"

RC: Definitely!! The hair and makeup team was sensational. A lot of my looks had me in beautiful beach waves and a bright colored dress or shirt. They did a wonderful job, I was always styled very glamorously while also looking like my character hadn't tried too hard.

Bare: If you were to step back in time, what era would it be? What actors or icons are major influences past or present and why?

RC: The 60’s! The color and energy of that time was amazing. Brigitte Bardot is one of my all time favorite style and beauty icons. She was so carelessly sexy and could pull off anything. And that hair! I have to say I also love the glamor and the energy of the roaring 20s! I love long silk slip dresses, velvet and sequins with an intense Smokey eye. And I could definitely do a dance marathon!

Bare: What music do you switch on when you want to get your groove on?

RC: I really can dance to anything, but my favorite artists right now are probably Post Malone, Halsey, Billie Eilish and Lil Nas X. Or a throwback like Cherry Pie by Warrant!

Bare: What's your favorite food, indulgence, escape, or hobby you like to dive into when recharging your batteries?

RC: I love playing tennis. Even if I can't find someone to play with, I could (and have) hit against a backboard for hours. And I LOVE pasta. I could eat penne a la vodka every day. Maybe a pizza too.

Bare: Do you have any recent hair or beauty product discoveries you can share with us?

RC: Last Fall I shot a film called 'A Job to Die For.' My amazing makeup artist, Annie Johnson, used a Tatcha moisturizer called The Water Cream on me, which kept my skin SO hydrated - it saved me during the 16 hour shoot days!

Bare: Please list your top 5 life's bare essentials.

RC: Clinique foundation with SPF and aquafor are musts for me! Running sneakers and headphones - I hope to run my second marathon this year :) Number 5 — a big pair of sunglasses.
